Apple is expected to introduce iPad 3 in the first week of March, 2012. There are rumors going on the internet as to what will be the features Apple iPad 3 is going to launch with.
Macrumors says that Apple iPad 3 will support a truly amazing screen. May be Retina Display I would say. Macrumors also shows leaked photos of iPad 3.
The Verge says that among other things, iPad 3 will support A6 processor which will be dual core and not quad core.

I believe that Apple iPad 3 will feature high resolution display [retina display], Apple iPad 3 will start from 32 GB instead of 16 GB, higher resolution camera, little lighter, same battery life, design may be similar to iPhone 4S design. In order to compete with Amazon, Apple will try to bring in lower price version of iPad, may be iPad 2 16 GB will start from $399. There are chances that Apple may call the new iPad – Apple iPad 2S instead of iPad 3.
